Why study Professional year (PY)?

The Professional Year Program helps to develop the potential of Engineering, IT, and Accounting candidates, so that they can come across appropriate employment opportunities. Before stepping into the rigors of the real world, the PY program aids students to become adept in their abilities. The Professional Year program provides a definite advantage to all the international students, IT Graduates, Engineering Graduates, and Accounting Graduates. It sets them up for their subsequent accomplishments. Finishing the Professional Year also fetches the applicant five points for their Australia Immigration application, and also adds value to the CV. It also helps the students to expand their association with industry professionals. The program is designed to assist students in making a smooth shift from apprentice life to professional life.

Eligibility Criteria

The Professional Year course is a 44 weeks program, with 12 weeks of internship included in the course. The entry requirement for each PY course is different. The primary condition is that the applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT, or Engineering.

The applicants also have to score 485 on the entire of 6 bands to be valid for Post Study Work Stream.

IT Accounting Engineering

Started by the Department of Home Affairs, the program is intended to conquer talent scarcity in Australia. The program runs for 44 weeks, which includes the first 32 weeks of theoretical information and communication skills instruction, while the remaining 12 weeks present students a chance to use the acquired data and procedures in practice through internship.

Successfully finishing the program also makes the students qualified for 5 extra points on Department of Home Affairs point’s test, which enhances their odds of permanent residency in Australia.

The program is meant to assist international accounting graduates nurture proficiency to shine in their profession.
