Why study Professional year (PY)?
Eligibility Criteria
The Professional Year course is a 44 weeks program, with 12 weeks of internship included in the course. The entry requirement for each PY course is different. The primary condition is that the applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT, or Engineering.
The applicants also have to score 485 on the entire of 6 bands to be valid for Post Study Work Stream.

Successfully finishing the program also makes the students qualified for 5 extra points on Department of Home Affairs point’s test, which enhances their odds of permanent residency in Australia.
Designed by CPA Australia, ICA (Institute of Chartered Accountants) and IPA (Institute of Public Accountants, Accounting PYP (Formerly SMIPA) is a professional year program for accounting graduates. The program is meant to assist international accounting graduates nurture proficiency to shine in their profession.
