Study Intake
The intake for admission into top US colleges and universities is generally divided into 3 categories:
- Fall intake – From September to December
- Spring intake – From January to May
- Summer intake, which typically starts around May.
Eligibility Criteria
While each US University has its own admissions criterion, there are quite a few general requirements. In general, the majority of American universities call for the following from international student applicants:
- Transcript
- Standardized test scores
- SAT or ACT
- English proficiency test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, iTEP, PTE Academic)
- Personal essay
- Valid passport
- For pursuing a master’s degree, a Bachelor’s Degree Certificate attested by the university’s Examination Controller/ Principal.
